The work of the Technology Delegation covers the entire education system, from preschool to higher education, and highlights differences from a gender perspective in particular. The Delegation takes an outward-looking approach in its analysis of the current situation and future scenario by:
- Highlighting the current and future need for and availability of scientists and engineers
- Strengthening teachers and teacher education
- Promoting greater cooperation between schools and working life
- Implementing proactive information campaigns, and supporting initiatives and projects aimed at raising interest in science and technology among children and young people
